It died in the house, but is resurrected as a striker amendment in the Senate Judiciary Committee today. The committee consists of 6 pro-life Republican men and two presumably pro-choice Democrat men. There are currently pregnant women and breastfeeding women out front with pro-life signs.
For those of you who don’t know, amongst other things, the bill would require an ultrasound 24 hours prior to an abortion as well as make it illegal to give or get an abortion if the fetus is 20 weeks or older.
Please, please, please, Arizona. Call your Senators.
